What is The High Satanic Church?
The High Satanic Church is a theistic Satanism congregation — a spiritual community devoted to the genuine worship of Satan as a living, numinous deity. We are not symbolic, not atheistic, and not a protest movement. We are a religious congregation centered on devotion, ritual, study, and spiritual fellowship.
Is this real Satan worship?
Yes. We worship Satan as a real, living deity. This is theistic Satanism — genuine devotion and communion with Satan, not symbolism, performance, or aesthetic roleplay. Satan is our God.
Is Satan real?
We believe Satan is absolutely real — a living, numinous deity who exists independently of human belief. Satan is not a metaphor, not an archetype, and not merely a symbol. He is a genuine spiritual being worthy of sincere worship and devotion.
What is the difference between theistic and atheistic Satanism?
Theistic Satanism involves genuine belief in and worship of Satan as a real, living deity. Atheistic Satanism treats Satan as a symbol, metaphor, or philosophical figure and does not involve belief in Satan as a literal being. The High Satanic Church is theistic.

Is theistic Satanism a political project?
No. Our orientation is religious and spiritual. We do not present Satan as a simple symbol for political struggle. Our practice is centered on devotion, ritual, study, personal sovereignty, discipline, and communion.

Yes. The High Satanic Church welcomes sincere seekers from every walk of life. LGBTQ+ people, trans people, Jewish people, people from Muslim backgrounds, converts, ex-Christians, Black people, people of every race and ethnicity, and all who come with sincerity and respect are welcome here. Identity does not decide a person's worth in our congregation.
Do you reject racism, antisemitism, Islamophobia, homophobia, and transphobia?

You may participate under a chosen display name and share publicly only what you choose to share. However, website registration requires an e-mail address for account verification, so it is more accurate to say that we support pseudonymous participation rather than absolute anonymity.
What platforms do you use?
The website is the central place for registration, sacred texts, announcements, and contact. Discord is used for community discussion, and Telegram may be used for those who prefer a more direct mobile channel. Community links are provided after registration when available.
Are there age requirements?

What are the current roles in the community?
The current ranks are: Visitor, Neophyte, Causalem, Limen, Profundum, Tempel, Master, and High Tempel. These roles reflect a natural progression of presence, sincerity, study, devotional practice, trust, and responsibility within the congregation.
How does role progression work?
Progression is not automatic, timed, or based on a formal test. As a member's presence, understanding, devotion, and conduct become clear, the administration may update their role and grant access to deeper texts or community areas.
What is expected of members?
Members are expected to approach the Church with sincerity, respect, discipline, honesty, and dignity. We value honour, sovereignty, knowledge, devotion, self-mastery, and serious engagement with the path.
What are the Sacred Texts?
The Sacred Texts are writings of our tradition — theological, devotional, practical, and esoteric works accessible according to role within the congregation. They include foundational and deeper materials concerning Satan, the acausal, devotion, ritual practice, and experiential knowledge.
Do you perform rituals?
Yes. Ritual is an important part of our devotional practice. Our rituals are sincere acts of worship, not theatrical performances. Both communal and personal ritual are encouraged.
Can I practice alone?
Yes. Personal practice is foundational. Community can support and deepen devotion, but it does not replace private worship, study, discipline, meditation, prayer, invocation, and ritual.
Do I need an altar or special ritual tools?
No. Sincerity matters more than objects. Some practitioners keep an altar, candles, incense, devotional writings, or a spiritual journal, but these are aids rather than requirements.
How do I begin a daily practice?
Begin with a regular quiet moment. Address Satan sincerely, whether aloud or inwardly, and allow time for stillness, reflection, invocation, study, or prayer. Consistency and authenticity matter more than elaborate form.
What if I do not feel anything at first?
That is normal, especially at the beginning. Sensitivity to the numinous develops through patience, sincerity, discipline, and repeated practice. Do not force, fake, or dramatize the experience; remain steady and honest.
Is theistic Satanism dangerous?
No. As practised by The High Satanic Church, theistic Satanism is a sincere spiritual path rooted in honour, self-discipline, devotion, and personal sovereignty. We do not condone harm, coercion, abuse, or illegal activity of any kind.
What does "Nazarene" mean in your writings?
We use "Nazarene" to refer to Christianity and its traditions. The term derives from Jesus of Nazareth and is used as a descriptor within our internal vocabulary.
What is "the acausal"?
The acausal refers to a reality beyond ordinary cause and effect — a deeper field associated with spiritual insight, genuine understanding, freedom, and numinous experience. In our tradition, Satan exists in and through the acausal.
What does "numinous" mean?
The numinous refers to the quality of genuine spiritual or divine experience — the felt presence of something beyond the mundane, material world. In our practice, it describes direct experience of Satan's presence.
