- Causal
- Ordinary material reality: bodies, time, distance, sequence, cause, consequence, and the conditions of daily life.
- Acausal
- Another order of being in Church theology. Satan and other spiritual Entities are understood as acausal.
- Nexion
- A point of contact between causal and acausal reality. The human being is the first nexion a practitioner works through.
- Wyrd
- The pattern a life makes through nature, circumstance, choice, habit, and consequence.
- Physis
- The inward nature of a thing: what it is beneath appearance, reputation, and description.
- Aletheia
- Truth coming out of concealment. Something is seen more nearly as it is.
- Gnosis
- Knowledge gained through participation or direct acquaintance. It comes from knowing something first-hand.
- Pathei-mathos
- Learning through what has been undergone. The important part is what an experience changes in your judgement afterward.
- Entity / Higher Entity / Dark God
- Terms for acausal intelligences. Dark Gods refers to a particular current and set of named beings in the Church's deeper material.
- Presencing
- Giving acausal influence a form in causal life through attention, ritual, symbol, conduct, place, or other deliberate work.
